The Introductory program is 7 days. During that time, we engage in three (3) ayahuasca ceremonies. The sessions usually begin in the evening and go through the night.

Everyone does the ayahuasca together. The group dynamic is very important, though there will of course be facilitators to look after you during the night.

Between the sessions there is a series of workshops and experiential teachings from the course teachers. There will be plenty of time for private discussions and
time alone to reflect on the experiences. Silvia has created a beautiful and lovely "setting" in nature, condusive to quiet meditation, healing, and self reflection which
in turn affects the participant's mental "set." This enables for the effects of the plant and the teachings of the course to be assimilated more readily and0
thus incorporated into daily living.

All our programs also include power point lectures, light and sound devices workshop, guided imagery meditations, and documentary films about consciousness expansion and exploration and healing.

Throughout the week, we also engage in a local jungle excursion with a native guide, and even whale watching (optional), if the season allows.

During the 7 days we follow a strict (though delicious) diet. The meals served at the restaurant are prepared using only local and raw materials of the day including plenty of fresh organic vegetables from our organic garden, luscious fruit, fish of the season, chicken, grains, and natural juice drinks. The special diet is specifically geared to maximize the ayahuasca experience.There is no alcohol served during the retreat and our diet is salt and sugar free. Sexual abstinence is also required during the retreat.

The Introductory program is the most popular of our courses for those new to the ayahuasca experience.
